1951 CHEVROLET THROW PILLOWS

One of these 1951 Chevrolet Throw Pillows is a unique gift idea for Father's Day.

What a great throw pillow with a old car photo design on Zazzle. This would make a great accent pillow for old car buffs, or a boy's room. One of my uncles had a brown 1951 Chevy when I was a child. I loved looking at it then, and this pillow brings back lasting memories.

The graphic arts designer that created this accent pillow has a lovely collection of Old Car Throw Pillows in his Zazzle Store

I like looking at Photos of Old Cars, and if you do too, you might enjoy seeing my collection of old car photos.

Train Throw Pillows

I have an attraction to trains and think the quality designer throw pillows are wonderful accent pillows to throw around for a splash of color and eye appeal.

I found three very nice train designs on 16 x 16 polyester pillows on Zazzle. I have bought polyester pillows from Zazzle for my own personal use and I know that they are quality.

Choo Choo! Here comes the train engine pulling train cars. Designer train pillows bring a dimension of something going on, and I can almost hear the train whistle blowing as I look at the beautiful graphic designs on these pillows.

Here are the three train pillows I want to show off to those who may be interested in these designs. They would be nice in the home of a train engineer or decorative home accents for a boys room.

I think you will agree if you are on this page looking at the pillows with pictures of trains on them. Going back to the photo at the top of the page. That vintage passenger train car was sitting still and I missed getting a whole picture of it as we drove by. My timing was just a little off. Still, there is something I like about that train picture. In fact, I think I like it better this way than if I had gotten the shot perfectly centered. The picture seems to give the impression that the train is in motion and you can not tell if there are passengers aboard. The passenger train car is actually still in service and is sitting at the ready for its next excursion. I sure hope to get a chance for a scenic ride on a vintage train one of these days. Perhaps, even a ride on that very car. The thing is, even if we miss the train, there will be others if we stay on track.

“That train has already left the station”, is one of those idiomatic sayings that we are hearing less and less over the years. It is a soft let down statement to inform someone that they have missed out on some type of opportunity and it is time to move on. A decision has already been put in motion to go forward with a plan. I suppose the idea behind the statement is to also encourage the individual to “get on track” with the plan and "hop aboard”. There is an empty seat waiting. There may be some surprising new opportunities that could be found along the way. Every now and then, trains do change and even reverse directions. There may still be time for some mid-coarse corrections. The figurative train may go through many “stations" along the route to its final destination. There is hope. All aboard!

This locomotive coming down the railroad tracks is a stunning accent throw pillow.
